What is an ESOP?

In addition to separate annual bonuses, Revamp’s ESOP rewards employees for contributing to Revamp’s success and stability without cost to the employee.

Revamp’s existing 401(k) plan continues alongside the ESOP. Revamp’s ESOP is a tax-qualified retirement plan, which is governed by many of the same rules and protections.

There is no cost to employees. Instead, the ESOP is fully company-funded.
Revamp created an ESOP Trust, which owns part of the company. The Trust allocates shares of stock to employee retirement accounts each year.
Employees vest this stock in their accounts over time until they retire or leave the company. These funds can be rolled over into a qualified retirement plan to defer income taxes and avoid penalties.
